  • Love of God's World

    Fri 29 Apr 2022

FS2 and KS1 have both had a great morning showing Love of God's World. FS2 went to the woods and found a lovely field to lie in! They also spotted and picked up litter to keep The Street tidy.

KS1 stayed in school, weeding the veg beds and the large pots of flowers as well as picking up litter to keep us tidy around school. Thank you!

  • It's open!

    Tue 26 Apr 2022

FS2 had a great time playing in our smart new Wendy House. Cooking meals and cleaning took up most of the time. It was so lovely to see it being enjoyed once more.

  • Wendy House ready to reopen!

    Fri 22 Apr 2022

Our pupils have been waiting patiently for the renovation of the Wendy House, which was first presented to the school by the PTA 25 years ago! It has been re-painted and re-stocked with some lovely new resources...thank you to the PTA for purchasing these and to Miss Kemp for making the wonderful bunting in house colours. We are pleased to announce it will reopen on Monday when the children return after the Easter break.

  • Easter Service

    Thu 07 Apr 2022

On this wonderfully sunny morning, our school community came together to enjoy a lovely Easter service a St Mark's church. The children sang their songs beautifully, read their poignant poems and prayers with feeling and gave some very insightful answers during the talk. It was particularly special as this was Rev Nick's last service with us before his retirement in May. It was great to see a packed church and to hear some really rousing singing.

    Happy Easter to everyone!

  • Easter Egg Hunt

    Wed 06 Apr 2022

Thank you to Mrs Bushnell and the PTA committee for organising such a brilliant Easter Egg Hunt in the gardens of Englefield House. The weather was very kind until the last 5 minutes when there was a torrential downpour!

The children worked in houses to follow the route on a map and find clues which led them via the grotto to the 'Real Easter Bunny'! All children received an Easter egg from the bunny.

  • Easter Parade

    Tue 05 Apr 2022

We enjoyed the most wonderful Easter Bonnet/Hat parade today in the sunshine. Most of our children had made a hat in readiness and some were very creative indeed! Parents joined us for the parade which gave an extra buzz of excitement. Our seven worthy winners each received an easter Egg from the PTA.

  • Music Concert

    Tue 05 Apr 2022

Well done to the 7 pianists who performed to the school and parents today. It was lovely to hear a good range of expertise from the youngest pupils playing with one hand, to the older ones using both hands, chords and the pedal. It is such a great way to show how we make progress through practice.

  • Tennis Workshops

    Fri 01 Apr 2022

The whole school has had fun this week learning some great tennis skills from Damian Lane who coaches at Pangbourne Tennis Club. The club part-funded the training to promote the sport to young people in the local area. Damian was delighted with the behaviour and skills of our young people - perhaps we have the next Cam Norrie or Emma Raducanu!

Pangbourne Tennis Club begin their 2022 Junior Coaching sessions on Friday 29th April at 4.30pm.
