  • Harvest Festival

    Mon 30 Sep 2019

Pupils, parents, grandparents and staff came together to enjoy our special Harvest festival service led by Rev Nick. Each class made a contribution to the service...songs, poems and prayers were all presented with great enthusiasm. Thank you to everyone for their generous donations which were taken to PACT in Reading by two of our parents.

A group of our KS2 children also attended the Harvest Festival at St Mark's church on Sunday morning; they sang 3 songs to the congregation, made a super sound and represented the school brilliantly.

  • The school is alive with the sound of music!

    Wed 25 Sep 2019
Our children in Years 3 and 4 have recently started having fife lessons with Miss Lock from Berkshire Maestros. The lessons are free of charge and very soon the children will be able to take the instruments home to practise. We look forward to hearing the group in the end of term concert.
  • New School Mascots

    Wed 25 Sep 2019

Thank you to the Paterson family who have donated two lovely teddies made out of our school uniform. We hope to use them as cuddle-friends for any child who is feeling a bit down or poorly as well as taking them out with us to sports events and so on. We are holding a school competition to find their names…the winning names will be announced shortly.

  • Worship Workshop

    Tue 17 Sep 2019

Our new worship group (Eddie, Gregor, Isabella, Maisy, Olivia and TJ) spent a day at All Saints church in Bucklebury with children from 4 other schools learning how to provide meaningful worship in schools. We look forward to using these ideas in our school assemblies.
