  • Choir visit to Purley Park Trust

    Wed 19 Dec 2018

We got a very special welcome when the choir visited residents at the Purley Park Trust, a residential care home for people with learning disabilities. The choir and residents sang with great gusto and the event really got both groups into the Christmas spirit. Thank you to the Trust for hosting us and thank you to our choir pupils for representing the school so well...we were very proud of you.

  • Carol-Singing in Englefield

    Mon 17 Dec 2018
Thank you to the merry band of carollers who set off around the village on Monday evening. The weather was kinder to us this year and we managed to sing for the full 45 minutes before returning to school for mince pies, hot chocolate and some delicious chocolates which were donated by local businesses and residents. Our collection will go to PACT and CIRDIC, two charities which support local people who are going through difficult times.
  • Christmas with the Aliens

    Thu 13 Dec 2018

A huge well done to our younger pupils who put on three great performances of 'Christmas with the Aliens'. The hall was packed with eager parents ready to be entertained...thy weren't disappointed. Clear spoken lines, good humour and fabulous singing (along with the usual 'off-stage action' which is a always fun to watch!); this was an excellent piece of entertainment with a special message about the true meaning of Christmas. Thank you to everyone involved.
