As a small school, we often need to raise additional funds as the National Funding Formula for Schools doesn't always give us enough to maintain the staffing structure that we feel is important to support all our pupils. Our main source of additional funding to help us with this is via monthly contributions from friends and families associated with the school. Please follow the link below if you would like to set up a regular donation. Thank you in advance...every bit helps.
We're a team of parents, friends and staff from across the school community, working together to raise money and support projects being undertaken by the school.
Englefield CE School PTA is a charity (Reg no 286442) that has been set up to raise vital funds to support Englefield School. Although Englefield is a State Funded school, Local Authority funds cover only the very minimum.
With your support, we can enhance the great work our school does in educating and caring for our children by purchasing new technology and equipment and funding fantastic extra trips and activities.
What has the PTA helped fund?
Some of the ways we raise money:
Who's who in the PTA?
All parents and staff are members of the PTA. All are encouraged to attend the PTA coffee mornings and AGM, to share ideas for fundraising and help wherever you are able to at events.
The PTA has a Committee which is voted in at the AGM. For 2019/20 the Committee Members are:
Chair: Ben Fabianczyk
Treasurer: Alison Hawthorn

I don’t have much time to spare, how else can I help support the school?
Englefield School Support Fund - The most beneficial way to support the school financially is to join our Support Fund and set up a monthly donation. Please use the link below or contact the school office for more information:
Give as you Live - this is an online fundraising platform allowing users to shop at over 4,200 stores and raise free funds for charify. The store pays Give as you Live a percentage of your total purchase price in commission and of this, 50% is passed on to your chosen charity. Go to https://www.giveasyoulive.com/ to sign up.
Apply for matched sponsorship – Many employers offer to match money raised by their employees, therefore doubling the amount going to charity so please take advantage of this where you can.
Corporate Donations / Sponsorship – Many businesses commit to supporting local charities as part of their corporate responsibility policies. If you work at a business that would be keen to support the school either through making donations (which could be cash donations or equipment such as laptops) or through sponsoring one of our events then we would be delighted to speak to them.
Every little helps. We are very grateful for any donations of time or money to help fundraise for our school. Thank You!
