  • Foxlease

    Fri 25 May 2018
Well done to all our Year 3/4 pupils who came on the residential trip to Foxlease. For some, it was their first trip away from home without their parents and they all did really well, supporting each other and getting hugs when needed. We had some fabulous activities which the children faced with great enthusiasm and then enjoyed a lovely fish and chip supper. All in all a very successful few days! Thankfully we can now catch up on our sleep over the half term break! zzzzz
  • Our new cookery area is open!

    Fri 18 May 2018

Today was the official opening of our new school cookery area. Thank you to the PTA for organising a cake sale which was raising funds to buy equipment to stock our nice new shiny kitchen cupboards!

The children are all looking forward to getting stuck in and creating some wonderful, culinary masterpieces...watch this space!

  • Year 6s chill out!

    Fri 11 May 2018
Thanks to Mrs Hartley, our Year 6 pupils are going into their SATs week chilled out and ready to face their assessments in a calm manner. They have been taught relaxation techniques which they will be able to use just before each assessment to ensure they are able to focus and produce their best work.
  • Houses work hard to create bug hotels around school.

    Fri 04 May 2018
Well done to everyone who joined in our bug-hotel building project this afternoon. As part of our wider conservation project, pupils gathered suitable materials to put into our large bug hotels which are situated in different spots around school. The hope is that we have now given our bugs some great places to nest and hibernate which should encourage a greater range of bugs. This should help pollination and support our bird population.
