Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Year 5/6 had a real treat when they were invited to watch a performance of Sister Act at Theale Green School. What made it extra special was spotting some of our past pupils who were performing.
As well as sporting events, we involve our pupils in academic challenges which are often organised by senior schools. Well done to the eight pupils in Years 4 and 5 (Grace, Gregor, Jennifer, Kai, Kaleb, Maya, Phoebe and Sammy) who participated in the Maths Challenges at St Gabriel's, which involved the teams solving a range of maths problems in a timed event against other schools.
Our Year 3/4 class had an amazing visit to Hampton Court Palace which added so much to their learning about The Tudors. They visited the Henry VIII’s apartments and found out about Elizabeth’s lost dress.
Thank you to Mrs Paterson’s company, Marsh, for providing us with the tickets.
Thank you so much to Mr Miles Edgar who came into talk to the Year 5/6 children about his love of archaeology and to share his collection of axe heads.
The pupils found his talk very interesting and it lit a spark of interest in finding out about the past.
Boys from Year 7 at Elstree School came to support our Y5/6 French lessons. Pupils from both schools enjoyed the experience and we hope to repeat this in the summer term.
