Victory for Team Englefield!
On Thursday, two teams of Year 1s and 2s headed off to Elstree to play in their annual football tournament. The players should all be from Year 2 but as we have such small numbers and were asked to fill a space by providing 2 teams, we were given special permission to send some Year 1s.
Our current KS1 pupils show a lot of natural talent at football so we had high hopes for the day - we weren't to be disappointed. After an enjoyable and successful afternoon our A team ended up in the final against Woolhampton which they went on to win 2 - 0. We won the trophy!!
Well done to everyone who took part. Yet agan a succcesful afternoon of sport and one that Mrs Carney will remember for a long time.
