School Harvest Festival
It was very special getting the whole school back into St Mark's for our Harvest Festival. It is such a lovely opportunity to say thank you to God for the wonderful world we live in and for the food we have to eat. Harvest is also the perfect time to show our love of others by collecting items of food that we can donate to a local charity to help those in need. This year we chose to continue our relationship with the New Beginnings charity who support homeless and vulnerable families through their Reading-based day centre and their food bank. We collected a huge number of tins and packet items which the charity were thrilled to receive. Thank you to all our families for being so generous and doing their part to ensure other people are able to flourish at this difficult time.
