Pumpkin Fun!
Thank you to our Chair of Governors, Chris Gittins for supplying us with so many pumpkins - a bumper year!
The large pumpkin at the front of the school weighed in at 11.9kg. The winners of the ‘Guess the Weight’ competition were:
1. Kaya (Y2) with 12kg
2. Jack (Y3) and Robyn (FS2) with 9kg
3. Alice (Y4) with 16kg
Each class had a competition to design the best ‘non-scary’ decoration for their pumpkins. The class winners were:
FS2/Y1: Robyn and Malina
Y1/2: Billy and Luca
Y3/4: Max and Katryn
Y5/6: Pippa and Stanley
They each received a pumpkin to take home to carve.
