We hope that you had a fun Easter break with your family and friends. We look forward to hearing about all the exciting things that you got up to.

This term we will be enjoying the book 'Lilah and the Secret of the Rain' by David Conway as part of our topic about plants. To enhance this topic, we will be doing lots of planting, growing and nurturing using our space in Ruby's Garden. If any family has any surplus plants through being over-enthusiastic when sowing seeds, we would be very happy to accommodate that surplus!

What do Christians believe God is like?

Please remember that children need navy shorts and an Englefield blue P.E t shirt. For outdoor P.E children will need also navy sweatshirt and navy tracksuit bottoms. This are in addition to play time 'overs'. Children also need a pair of outdoor shoes/trainers/wellies for play times.

Woodland Learning - Friday mornings

We are out and about again this term - exploring the woodland on the Englefield Estate. Mrs Sheppard and Mrs Street will be looking for at least 5 parent helpers each week as we are a larger group. We do need parents to help with Woodland Learning as without the legally required number of adults, we are unable to take the children out onto the Englefield Estate. If you are able to help, either regularly or just occasionally, please get in touch via our class email. 

Children will need 'overs' or a puddle suit with outdoor shoes or wellie boots on rainy days. As the weather gets warmer, please remember to apply sunscreen before your child comes to school and provide them with a hat, long sleeved top and leggings/trousers. The latter are important to protect against bites, stings and particularly ticks.
