Not everyone is a speedy runner so our Sports Day includes a carousel of activities for KS1 and another for KS2 which enable pupils to show their athletic skills in other ways.

All pupils in KS2 took part in the Englefield Mile which is run on the main drive to Englefield House.
We had the 'elite' race followed by a 'fun run'.

We were delighted to present Mrs Wendy Newsome with a bouquet from the school in recognition of her 25 years' service at Englefield CE Primary School. Wendy gives so much to the school and we are very lucky to have her.

Beekeepers Mark 2

Our second team of bee-keepers started today. They all enjoyed their first experience and Mrs Watts is looking forward to working with them for the remainder of this term.

Thirtover Residential

The Year 3/4 children had a fantastic residential at Thirtover Place in Coldash. Activities included grass-sledging, orienteering, the Big Art Project, the low ropes course and a water activity, though it was wet enough already!

Rushall Farm Trip

Years 3 and 4 had a wonderful day at Rushlall Farm today. They took part in so many different activities:
- woodland walk with bluebells
- tractor/trailer ride
- feeding the chickens

Every child in school produced some artwork this week on the theme of 'nature'. We then chose 28 pupils' work to be displayed at The Rotary Club Art Exhibition in Pangbourne Village Hall this weekend.
